The community is managed by a board of directors comprised of property owners elected by the residents each May, including President, Vice President, Treasurer, Tax Collector, Building & Zoning Chair, Compliance Chair, Roads Chair and Lakes & Beach Chair.  In addition to the Tax District, Lake Bunggee is also a Flood & Erosion Control Board responsible for flood control and erosion management within the community.
